She is ever so growing and I feel like she is coming everyday as she gets bigger. And I still have 8 weeks to go! Oh boy -

PS - We are not really naming her Tonya - but I bet you can guess who is calling her that!

We're Back!

All 18 of us arrived safely! some drove, some flew. Brady did great on his first plane ride. Of course he fell asleep on the descent into LA, wishful thinking on my part to have him sleep the whole way.

Meeting the characters

Not so exctied to see the characters up front and in person. He did warm up to Chip - and the princesses were pretty alright to meet. We did go to a Disney live show. How fun was that! He loved it! The characters were in puppet form - which probably made it not intimidating for him. It was my highlight of the trip watching Brady enjoy it so much.

Getting ready for a trip!

We leave for Disneyland on Saturday! Looking forward to it! We've been watching the Disney channel a lot so that we are used to the characters. We will give a full report when we come back.

I was able to sneek in and take a picture of Brady sleeping in his new bed. It's been going pretty well. Lately we've been sleeping pretty light - someone likes to get out of bed about 2 or 3 am and check things out. It's pretty funny to see a little head stick out in the hallway to see if anyone is up yet.

Big Big News to Report this morning!

Brady slept in his new Big Boy Bed last night!!!! We read our bedtime story in there last night and I was getting up to take Brady to his Crib - Tony siad, "Why don't you just get under the covers and lay down". A little hesitation on Brady's part, but that's all it took and his got right in!
I laid with him for 15 minutes and he was out - so I snuck out.
Not until 3:00 am did we hear a peep out of him.
But, how weird is it to see your child standing in the hallway in the middle of the night. He started yelling, "Mommy, mommy, mommy", and so I just picked him up and I decided to stay with him the rest of the night. Not sure how much sleep either of us had from 3:00 - 6:00, but wow! What a BIG night.

Brady's new Big Boy Room!

Since I am no longer working from home, we dismantled my office today!
We will (slowly) move Brady into his new room - and of course we aren't finished with it yet (Tony still needs to paint and I still need to go shopping for new bedding - it's hard, I know - why do I always have to do the hard work!).
We asked Brady tonight if he would like to sleep in his new room, and he said, "No, not yet". Who knows - anyone have any tips on this transition????

About Time!

I guess it has been a while since we last updated. We haven't taken any recent pictures (as in the last month or so) that's what happens when you don't buy rechargables for your camera.

I guess the only big news we have since last time is that we do know we are having a girl! She is still due around the end of June - but due dates don't really mean that much when your first child decided to come three weeks early out of nowhere. We are just shooting for June. Everything is going great - and I am much bigger this time around, then I was with Brady. It's good fun! No, in all, I love being pregnant - it's been pretty easy once we got past the first trimester. Now it's time to move Brady into a Big Boy bedroom - all his new furniture is in the garage, waiting for mommy to clean up the rest of her office so we can move the Baby furniture in that room - then Tony gets the fun job of assembling Brady's new furniture!

We are going to Disneyland over Spring Break with all of Tony's family (18 of us in 5 hotel rooms, 2 pregnant girls, 5 kids - 4 of them being girls). Should be lots of fun - there will probably be many stories!

Life is good - just going to try and figure out what it will bring us next!

It was beautiful at the beach this past weekend. Thanks mom and dad for taking Brady!

Heather and Eric - we had a great time, can't wait for Seaside! Thanks to Tony's parents for letting us use the beach house!

We did tour the cheese factory in Tillamook, but didn't see a whole lot - apparently they have the weekends off. Atleast they serve ice cream !
